In the car

Greg (popping in a contemporary jazz cd): Try to really listen. This guy is a genius.
Me: Bill Evans? Urgh.
Bill Evans: Noodle, noodle.
Me: It’s like he can’t decide what tune to play.
Greg: It's complex.
Bill: Dum de dum, ho hum. Pling, plong!
Me: Going up! Third floor, ladies underwear!
Bill: Needle, needle.
Me: What instrument is he playing, coz I think he might be plucking on my LAST NERVE.
Greg: OK. You pick something.
Me: Eighties Brit Pop it is.

LOL I have these same conversations. I can't stand be-bop jazz.

Warf (from Star Trek's TNG) said, "It is a cacophony of noise."

I tend to agree. :o)
